Apply to the Fulbright U.S. Student Program in Chile

Each year, a new group of U.S. students arrives in Chile with a research question and leaves with something much larger: a deeper understanding of their field, a new academic network, and a lasting connection to the region.

The Fulbright Chile is now accepting applications for the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, offering the opportunity to conduct advanced research in Chile in collaboration with leading universities and research centers.

In Chile, applicants can shape their experience through different award options. Some design independent research projects through the Open Study/Research Award, while others engage with specific institutions through the Partnerships Awards, or contribute to strategic research areas through the Chile Lithium Award, focused on lithium systems and related fields.

What distinguishes the Fulbright experience in Chile is not only the academic rigor but also the context in which it unfolds.
